WHAT IS UV LED DIRECT PRINTING?
Direct UV led printing is a technology that allows, through the action of UV rays, to work directly on the substrates and to dry the ink immediately with special lamps.
Conceptually it does not change much compared to more traditional printing methods, but the inks and drying significantly change.
UV inks, in fact, are well defined and tend to stick quickly to the substrates, immediately evaporating the liquid part. With this technique drying will be almost instantaneous.
HOW DOES UV DIRECT PRINTING WORK?
With direct UV printing the object to be printed will be positioned on the printing surface, with the machine that will automatically detect dimensions and thickness. Through the heads, the ink will be thrown onto the material with great precision, it will be indelible and dried directly thanks to special UV LED lamps.
With direct UV led printing you will always get bright colors and long-lasting jobs.
This technology is extremely versatile and it can be used on many materials, such as polycarbonate, dibond, plexiglass, wood, fabrics, forex, pvc, metals (and derivatives) and other supports. No other intermediate processes are needed (being a direct print).
This print has a greater resistance to atmospheric agents, is long-lasting and versatile, it can also be used outdoors.
